Terminology

Robin Francis & Sons obtain personal data that is required to provide services.  Robin Francis & Sons can source personal data directly from data subjects, via telephone and email correspondence and through robinfrancisandsons.co.uk when submitted via the contact form.  Personal data is not sourced externally however Robin Francis & Sons may receive personal data from third parties if the data subject has requested this transfer of data.

Categories of personal data collected by Robin Francis & Sons include contact name, address, telephone number and email address.  Additional information may be required to complete services however Robin Francis & Sons do not obtain personal sensitive data.

Robin Francis & Sons have security measures in place to protect personal data and to strictly limit access to select persons of authority.  There is also a Firewall (security software) in place to protect internal information from the internet.

Robin Francis & Sons practise a 6-year retention period after which personal data is securely destroyed; this personal data can be reviewed at any time to determine whether it is still needed, and this can result in destruction of the personal data prior to the deadline of the retention period.  Please be aware that companies can keep personal data for longer if kept for public interest archiving or statistical purposes.

Google Analytics

When someone visits robinfrancisandsons.co.uk a third party service called Google Analytics is used to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.  This is to discover factors such as the number of visitors to various parts of the site.  This information is processed in a way which does not identify anyone; Robin Francis & Sons does not make, and does not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
